How to Reach

ENTRY PERMITS:

Foreign tourists can enter Nagaland/ Wokha with valid visa and passport. However, they need to register with the Foreigner’s Registration Officer (FRO) or the nearest Police Station within 24 hours of their arrival.

Indian tourists should obtain the Inner Line Permit (ILP) from any of the authorities.

Wokha is accessible by road via Dimapur- the only Airport and railway station in the State is well connected to Guwahati which has direct train lines with most major Indian cities. A number of yellow Zonal Taxis and Buses ply from Dimapur and Kohima to Wokha.

Wokha can be reached by Taxi/Bus from two routes. Dimapur to Wokha via Kohima which is about 174.28 km and via Merapani, it is about 71.7 km.
